Jack Hopkins, President and CEO of CorTrust Bank in Sioux Falls, S.D., was elected chairman of the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA) for 2025-26. His term began March 14, following the conclusion of ICBA LIVE 2025 – the largest gathering of community banks in the country.

In this role, Hopkins plans to advocate for the community banking industry to Congress and the public. “I am honored to serve in this role and represent community banks throughout the country,” Hopkins said.

A third-generation community banker, Hopkins learned the business from the ground up and has devoted his professional career to improving the financial lives of the customers CorTrust Bank serves. He brings that same passion and dedication to his role as ICBA chairman, continuing his work over the last 40 years advocating on behalf of community banking.
