[Press Release] CorTrust & South Dakota Bankers Foundation Award Two $2,000 Scholarships
College Community Banking Press ReleaseThe South Dakota Bankers Foundation, on behalf of CorTrust Bank, awarded two $2,000 scholarships. To be eligible, applicants needed to be a South Dakota college junior or senior, or a second year South Dakota technical student, with an expressed interest in banking and financial services.
Out of the 24 applicants, two winners were selected based on their community involvement and future careers plans. The scholarship recipients are Amber Hoff (Mitchell Technical College) and Landon Ruesink (Dakota Wesleyan University).
Amber is currently pursuing an accounting degree and plans to enter the finance sector. Landon is an accounting major with a finance concentration and plans to work in the wealth management and trust field.
